My name is Mark and my screen name is NorthCoast.  This is my saltwater website.

My first saltwater aquarium was a 54 gallon fish only tank.  I began to add live rock, sand, other equipement and...

In June 2000, I completed the setup of my 120 gallon reef tank.  I moved all five fish from the first tank and added a yellow tang.  I have been slowly adding soft corals, LPS corals and a few SPS corals to the tank.

I hope you enjoy my site!

All original photography for this site was taken with an Olympus D450z digital camera.  I am the photographer if you like the pictures - If you don't, it was some other guy that looks like me.  Most tank pics of fish were taken without a flash.  I use a tripod to keep the camera steady (sometimes) and l keep the room dark.  Most of the pictures were taken with only light from the tank., however, some reef pictures were taken with flash at night.  It is easy to tell the difference between flash and tank lighting - just look for the blue light!  The two 400 watt metal halid 12,000K bulbs give it away. The pumps and skimmer were left on durring the shoot, therefore, bluring from water motion can be seen in most of the pictures.
